This was one ultimate perched village, balancing on a rocky pinnacle high above the Mediterranean. We stayed here for 2 nights in this midevil town but it was no fun hauling our luggage through the long, narrow cobblestone streets to our B&B but I would do it again if I could. This town is full of art galleries, stores and many craft workshops and at the top of the village, there is a chateau which is in ruines, surrounded by a lush tropical gardens of the Jardin Exotique with superb views of the coastline of the Mediterranean. It was fun exploring the windy cobblestone roads not knowing where you would end up and where every corner would lead you too.
