Ron's and my 5th time to Rancho Santana! A beautiful 2700 acre private gated Community and Fell in Love with it 7 years ago, and of course we bought a one acre lot with intentions on building one day. We come down here not only for the amazing sunsets but for the lovely people who own here and have now called this place their home. Ron and I also fell in love with the horse back riding which the Ranch owns around 30 horses and many beautiful Stallions that are used for riding. You can always find us out for morning rides along the beautiful sandy beaches of Santana Beach or the pretty mango fields.
The Entrance into Rancho Santana
On the other side of the main Gates from the Ranch is the entrance into the Guava plantation and there is a large newly built workout facility which belongs to Rancho Santana.
Sunset from our house rental looking down towards Rosada Beach!
We decided to Head out for a early morning ride with Beverly so she let me use the saddle bags and packed up my camera and a few lenses for a few picks before our Breakfast so we tied up the horses and got a few wonderful shots with the ocean in the back ground.
Ron and Solahai
My horse below La Princessa!
The other Horse below is Lucero and he is my favorite horse to ride, he's such a pleasure to ride and handles beautifully being that he's a Stallion. I got to ride him in 2 different occasions on this trip
Beverly is the Director of Rancho Santana Equestrian Centre. Her beautiful Stallion Festival!
These are photos of our House accomodation that we won in the Raffle that we help support for the Limon Library every year! They pulled our name So we won 6 nights and bought a few extra days to stay here! What a beauty to stay in, it was so comfortable and modern home with a large living space to move around in with a big modern kitchen, I would have to say it's been our favorite accommodations while staying at the Ranch and of course it had Killer views of the as the Property is Ocean front and the house sits on a high cliff over looking the big Blue Ocean.
Walking down to Rosada Beach is only a few short steps down this Road with another beautiful Pool to enjoy and you can watch surfers waiting to catch the next waves.
And of course Surfing is right at your door step! Every morning I would take a short walk and watch the surfers bobbing in the waters waiting to catch their next wave!
And my favorite way to finish up a great day is sitting below and enjoy a cold glass of white wine and taking in a pretty sunset!
