We were staying below in the port town of Amoudi Bay below Oja, and decided to spend our last day in the village of Oja, the famous village of Santorini, know throughout the world for its quiet life and fantastic sunsets and is certainly the most beautiful and picturesque village of Santorini. The Village is also situated on top of an impressive cliff and offers a spectacular view over the volcano of Palia and Nea Kameni and the island of Thirassia. I could have spent days Photographing this village with it's amazing traditional blue domed churches, charming houses in narrow streets and sunbathed verandas. The Heat was getting the best of me by mid-afternoon so I decided to call it quits and head down the 300 steps to where we were staying in Amoudi Bay. Getting here early to start your day exploring and photographing is best to do so early in the morning because it gets so hot here in the afternoon and the crowds of people get huge but Oja is so totally worth experiencing, I only saw a fraction of it and hope to come back to her again!!!
